Good to hear you picked her up :)
This is no good year for bikers in EU/UK with all that rain / cold

See the good point, if you can't ride it because of weather it gives you time to get rid of the stock licence plate holder and tinker something more sexy (all in all it's a 6 hours job without speeding)

I see the good point as i'm bikeless for almost 5 months now, the bad weather softens the wait a little bit.
The bad about it is that i'm working outside so i'm pretty clean behind my ears by now :D

I picked her up today :)

It was just turning dark by the time I left the dealers and middle of winter, but I did 100KM (60 miles) before it started raining.

Love it, feels very different to my 749...And nothing prepares you for the sound, its insane!!! Its the first time Ive ever grinned/giggled in my helmet :)
Yes there are things like the seat is a killer (I'm going to get a comfit seat) etc etc, but its like saying your super model girlfriend's legs are 2 long and her breasts get in the way when you hug her.....

Everyone who is thinking I'll wait for the next model, there is always going to be a next model and this is an amazing bike!
Oh yeah there is zero smoke from mine, not even a hint. Do you think they have made some changes since the original release models?

Mate you must be pretty happy!! Did they mention anything about the swingarm recall? What was their 'run in' advice?

Congrats on the new bike...was it worth the wait?

Mine wasn't a recall for the swing arm and their advice was not to over load it (lower gear than usual)

If im on the motorway don't stay at the same revs for 2 long, change gears now and then to mix the revs...

and not a lot of city traffic for the first 200 K's, if you want to see one before yours arrives im in Brooklyn. PM me.

Yes it was, im the first one to get one in my City, so I'll have to ride it around a bit to show it off... :D

Also I got a thumbs up from a cop tonight, he had pulled someone up just after a tunnel and turned around when he herd me coming. Big grin and thumbs up :)
