899 Selling very well it appears..

Because the 2 bikes look so similar, both utilizing the Superquadro, and lack a huge gap in price, I think it'd be very difficult to not compare the two. At least much more so than the 848/1198. The 1199 is the most rideable Ducati Superbike ever and along with the electronic aids, I think many of the middleweight consumers will be less afraid of the 1199.

Although I don't run a dealership like you do so this is all conjecture. But don't you think, particularly with the similar appearance, more 899 customer will consider an 1199 more so now than in any other previous Ducati lineup?
