For all those that suffer from the 1199/1299 heat it appears a solution may be at hand. A small company AR-HA (based in Canada) have come up with a additive to engine coolant that is guaranteed to reduce engine temps by 20%. Apparently originally designed to reduce the temps for mining machinery.

Just read a small media release all about it by their CEO P Albert.

Looks like a potential solution. Can't wait to see how it works out. :)
 
i guess mining with massive drill hammers...
that will require some cooling capacity - all that burnt rubber...

We are ahead of you guys on the dateline so I had plenty of time to come up with a April fool thread. So looks like its back to the drawing board for the heat issue. And apologies to PA and his good friend ARSE. :D
 
So who's gonna be the guinea pig for AR-HA for some core drilling with this new product?
