After a complete strip down of what you see below and a complete rebuild (from the engine up), I decided to let my OCD get the better of me and ended up with this...

What necessitated the strip-down rebuild in the first place?
I've never been a lover of Ducati's OEM fasteners or cast aluminium parts, which even at the price point of this particular model, are pretty poor/average, so I took the opportunity to improve on them. None of the work carried out will significantly enhance the bike in terms of performance, weight or handling but it's not about that. I simply wanted to enhance the quality of the parts bolted to it, which for me was the primary goal. Were the bike built to this spec originally, it would be prohibitively expensive, so I've mitigated that by adding to it over time and lots of additional shifts at work to fund it all.
