Sup All,

Took delivery of my V2 on Thursday, I live in the Austin, Texas area! Amazing bike so far.....took it out today for it's inaugural fun ride and......I have an error on the dash. A yellow triangle with "!" inside of it. No mods were done to it, it's completely stock. After about 30 seconds of putting it in gear, the error pops up. In neutral, no code pops up at all. After about 10 miles I turned around and went back home, didn't want to take the chance of something happening and leaving me stranded.
The servo closes and opens up during startup, can't see anything physically wrong with it at all. Back to the shop on Wednesday, hopefully.

Thoughts?

I’m interested in how smooth and refined your new v2 feels to you. My 1299 was atrocious down low even with the Akra upmap but now that it’s tuned it’s sooo gooood

I rode it for a bit yesterday, this bike is precise.
Pros:
Light
Turns in easily
quickshifter is the smoothest...ever
sounds amazing
comfortable

Cons
front brakes

I'm sure I'll have plenty more updates..I only have about 80 miles on it so far, hahahah

They don't have the initial bite that I'm used to. Not a flaw by any means.....they are more a linear feel. I'm sure better pads would help.

Here we go replacing parts on your brand new bike already hahaha

that’s awesome! Another V2 rider chimed in that its far more smooth than his 959. Interesting

Since this is my first Duc, I can't compare to the previous gen. HAHAHA...I'll get more seat time before I change anything, I try to keep it stock as possible. Who is the other V2 rider, I'd like to compare notes hahahhah

Pretty sure it issei's the exact same master, caliper, rotor, pad setup as 959. Its rare to hear that feedback on Ducatis that is why I ask. I mean stock stuff is good, but I have completely replaced entire braking system, but that is for track / racing

More seat time will probably change my mind. My cons are normally little things that I can correct. LOL

Was it the NRC? If so, I removed it and put the Whale Tail back on for now. I think the EVoTech tidy that is made for the V4 allows you to use your own signals and plate light, thus, eliminating the error.
The error message happens because your rear light actually goes out and then comes back on within 3-4 seconds.

Well, I think I figured out why mine is popping on also, the damn dealer ordered the V4-FE kit for my V2, there are 2 different part numbers on NewRageCycles website for the tail tidy. I will have to order the correct one and have the dealer return the other one. UGG!

Yeah, I can tell by the Supercorsa tire on the rear it's the V4.
I’m wondering... they didn’t have a V2 to develop a new kit for and it’s exactly the same as the v4. Maybe send an email to NRC to get to the bottom of this. I think ur dealer thought they were Interchangeable it would be good for them to know they are not if they are Indeed not
