I just got home from a week at Deals Gap.

The week before I headed out I partially tore my MCL, so bending my knee was a choir (painful).

I can't say enough great things about the handling of the Panigale. On the tight stuff I felt like I was riding a 600.

The wife and pup were with me, so I didn't venture out a lot. However when I did get out I had a blast.

What a fun, fun bike!:)

Check out images 16-19.

Nice pics, I also go up there two to three times a year.
Will be up there the week of the 16th with the Pani, can't wait.

Must be nice ! Between all the rain and work , I've barely got 500 miles on mine !
Larry , your avatar is ummmmmmm.............nice !

Thx for sharing. Haven't been to the gap since they opened a track locally but I have fond memories.

I'll be at the gap starting Sunday until the following Sunday.

Looking awesome!!! It's torcher for me seeing those pics. I went in the spring with the 1098, didn't have my 1199s yet. I won't be there again til next spring. Until then...the track. Can't wait. Thanks for sharing.

Ordered some of my pics. Hopefully the wife and I have a house up that way soon.

Below are a few pics taken by moonshinephoto.com that were taken.

great pics man..was just up there couple weekends ago, u didnt happen to go to blood mt? i saw an 1199s running around up there.

Are you tall? I was talking with Kamal (Killboy photographer) this afternoon and he mentioned a tall guy riding a Panigale pretty well (or some type of compliment). I assume it's you.

That would be you. Wish you were here this week. I need someone fast to ride with.
Pictures would be very cool to see two 1199's moving quickly up the mountain.

Chris,

I was trying to work the rust off. 4 years of living in Florida doesn't help.

You gotta post some pics when you get them. Oh be careful on the far side of the Cherohala. There was a lot of pea gravel on Tennessee side.

Jay.
