ABS upgrade for Base 1199?

Have a 2012 Base 1199. is there an ABS kit that can be retrofitted to a base unit?

Car short stopped and had grab a lot of brake today up on front wheel a few times.. bouncing rear wheel coming to a stop! ouch the jewels....

No... to put it succinctly... did you buy the bike new??
 
Ive had the same thing on my mind. Is it possible to buy the ABS system used and upgrade it? I'm not mechanically inclined but would it be possible to purchase the requires parts and install them?
 
i don't know why someone like bosch doesn't come out with an aftermarket ABS solution? should happen soon, not that difficult...
 
Found a previous post on this topic sorry. Costs a kidney and your first born to get this done.
