I mounted the areo attachments tonight out of boredom. I don't think they look as bad as I expected? In fact I actually like them.:D

Thanks for doing that. I know now I won't be doing it to mine.

Chris

While I do not care for them I have to admit that they do seem to fit quite nicely.

I think they look ok
I was told gives extra 4-5 kmh
and you cant take them off or it will mark you pait work ??

let us know if you think you could just take them off
Thanks

I fitted mine and everyone comments on how they like the look, so do I, and much better wind protection. Mine are on for good.

more full body picture would be cool! just to get a look at all the lined from a distance. I kinda like it! may do it myself, have to see more.

wait, your Base comes with this? mine doesnt..
anyway, not quite sold on the look IMO

My dealer puts them on without asking but that is fine with me. I really like the look. Just another cool detail about the bike.

Again

What windscreen do you have on there dude?

I still have my two pieces wrapped in bubble wrap in a box, unsure if Im going to apply them or not. Wonder what they are worth to a Base owner who doesnt get them with their bike?

Yes my base came with them. I've heard that some dealers didn't give them to base model owners, but mine did. Ducati North Scottsdale (now Go-AZ) has been very good to me thus far and this was an added bonus. As for the windscreen, it's stock I just smoked it myself using VHT Niteshade spray tint. I've used it before and I think the results came out pretty good here as well? BTW, the tinted screen doesn't affect the TFT day/night auto setting at all; still works perfectly.

Never heard of the stuff. Could you please send me a pic of it, or exact info off the can and where to get it? I wonder if you can just use it lightly to get a light tint instead of that dark?
THX!

They go on and come off pretty easily and that's not where paint damage will come from IMO. I think if left on they will eventually cause some damage from vibration, although they are a pretty tight fit. I purchased the tankslapper full 3M protection kit so if I do leave them on 3M will go on first.

It's typically available at your local parts store in the paint section. Check Lowes or Home Depot as well. My local HD and Lowes also carry it. It's primary use is for smoking taillights, but I would imagine you can put it on as light or dark as you like? I think I have about 7 coats to get it that dark. But it might be tough to get it perfectly even with lighter coats?

Here's a link to the manufacturer web site with more info.

I like the way it makes the bike look, and I might be alone on this but would be interested in seeing a company produce these in carbon fiber.
