I will never buy anything related to audi ever again. this includes ducati porsche vw
others i will be boycotting

t mobil
Budweiser
already canceled netflix

kawi was on that list too but they fired that person for being stupid .

if i want your product i dont need your politics. these ad people should be fired. i know if i owned a huge company i wouldnt want to alienate half my customer base.

fyi audi the wage gap has been debunked 1000 times stick to merkel

this is interesting (I didnt see the ad) and I agree with you in that everything Dont need politics involved.

Note to you: You should put this on Off Topic section. It is not 1299 related. Yes you said Ducati but not 1299 and more about Politics.

Boycotting those brands because of their values and principles, or because they voice them publicly in their advertisements?
 
Seems like you're going to be boycotting way more than VW/Audi/Netflix. Please point to the doll where it hurts....

Why not get her an Audi S5 - nothing wrong with that car.

A bit of a stupid ad though. They must have snorted a shitload of coke before making that one.
 
everything is gotta go political and its making the average person pissed

especially since the premise of the commercial is based on a lie.

I think the biggest question is why piss off at least half of your target audience or customer ?
 
What an awesome commercial! My son will appreciate it as much as my two daughters will. Audi group just climbed up another step on the brand ladder for me.
 
Brands/people *should* get political. It's the only way to know who does or doesn't deserve our time/money/whatever. There's nothing more spineless than believing something and refusing to own it out of fear for the consequences. Especially when it comes to companies.

P.S They probably did a ton of market research before wading out into this territory. The number of people they figure they're going to offend almost certainly isn't anywhere remotely close to half.

Audi pays its women employees the same as everyone everywhere in the USA.

when they were called out on it on twitter they responded : "When we account for all the various factors that go into pay, women at Audi are on par with their male counterparts."

there are two things an ad has to be:
1. informative 2. funny


a lot of them were none either.
KIA - eco - what? how is lithium for your ....... batteries won again? please show up that fully sustainable supply chain.

audi - nice - equal pay is a good thing. but it's not worth an ad. well, ok, now more new- age ...... are gonna buy them, but way less normal men because they just got lectured on what to tell their daughters.
