Looking to get into the pista gp carbon so i went to try them on. I always wear a small in arai but this felt a little tighter than i liked. Tried the S/M and it felt good but the guy said it could be a little tighter. Im hoping guys who own the Arai and AGV can comment as to what size they were in Arai and what size they are in AGV. I know head shape is different but this might help me feel better lol. He did say the helmet will pack out a bit but ive never owned an AGV so im not sure what to expect. Thanks in advance!

Arai Corsair V to AGV Corsa (same shell shape as PistaGP) - large to large. AGV slightly tighter than the Arai but overall I think it's more comfortable.

Arai vs...................

Arai in general are ALWAYS tight as hell IMHO.

When I feel ( I should use past tense really) like really ripping on it, Id always go for the Arai. However, I always found the Bell Star (Carbon) much, much more comfortable for sure. But then again, I always wished I could get that Pista since it looks to be an awesome lid for sure! You actually found one and tried it on??

So for me it was usually the Bell due to how extremely ventilated it was, how comfortable and again IMHO only - their Transition Faceshield is hands down one of the best thought of and made devices EVER!! :D

(Granted , these lids are a bit outdated right now too) :(

I have the AGV Corsa and Pista Rosso in MS. The Arai IOM TT Corsair X in small I just bought fits like a glove.

My forehead measurement is 58cm despite being told that I have a big head.

The Corsa is a little tighter than the Pista in the same size.

I wear a medium arai corsair v and med/large corsa. I have been wearing an arai for years street and track, and I tried the AGV corsa and love it. They both are awesome helmets, but I prefer the agv. I honestly don't think Arai has changed that much since the rx7 15 years ago, maybe their price!

Go to the AGV site..follow their size guide, measure your head...buy within that guideline, you will not be disappointed

AGV's (Corsa) do typically fit snug...but fit they do, and for my head shape I'd say perfect, not uncomfortable, no pinch or pressure point spots

I have the Corsa RaceTrack and the all Carbon GranPremio and after owning these I would need serious convincing to use any other brand again....ear plugs are a must (but that's true for all helmets anyway)

Thanks for all the help boys.

Funny you say that about the Bell carbon helmets. That was the only reason im in this mess, i seen the new bell race stars and loved them and everyone says they're amazing so i wanted one. Figured with 5 huge dealerships and a ton of small ones i would be able to try one on, Nope. No one carries them in stock and its all special order. My head is very odd shaped so i wont buy unless i can try and thats where i found the AGV in store.
