Agv pista gp helmet review

Overall it sounds like a very nice helmet. I'm not too concerned with the noise because I wear earplugs when I ride. However, I've heard that it's not the most comfortable helmet around when compared to other top of the line helmets like Arai, Shoei, etc, etc. I was told that it's more of a helmet for track days and racing as opposed to just street riding, it's not a helmet that you would like to wear on a 300 mile trip. This is just an opinion that I heard and I was wondering what you guys that actually own the helmet think. Is it pretty comfortable on long road trips or not so much? Any thoughts or comments on that?

For me, I think the Pista is more comfortable than the Arai and Shoei helmets I've had. The shape of the Pista (and Corsa) seem to help with wind buffeting, so long rides aren't as tiresome. It's also very light so that also attributes to less fatigue.

I used to only buy Arai or Shoei helmets and I always thought AGV helmets weren't as good. But now the new Pista/Corsa helmets seem to be one of the first things that came out after Dainese purchased AGV. The quality is outstanding.

You can get the Pista GP elements for $750. the others are under 1k.

Cheaper than everywhere else, but I only see the $750 price for Small. Same helmet is a couple hundred more, or appears so for the other sizes. Add $50 shipping and whatever customs charges to get to a final price.

Wish I had one.

I used my Corsa today with the pinlock and I had zero fog issues. 72 degrees yesterday. today should be around 75-79. Didn't even use the GP-tech. Awesome helmet.

It's a great helmet, extremely lights and your range of vision is huge. It's fits completely different than any other helmet I've ever had and its not a bad thing just takes a minute to adjust, one you do it's like the helmet isn't even there. It is loud and sometimes it can be annoying removing and inserting the rubber plugs for the air vents. Overall a phenomenal helmet, I'll probably buy another one before to long. Also if your shopping around championhelmets.com has good prices, it's out of Europe buy when u take away the VAT tax it's hard to beat them.

I have one myself (project 46) and i fully agree it is so different from any other helmet. It is like you are not wearing a helmet at all. It sits comfortably around the head. And the shape of it is looks so agressive. The carbon is not only super light weight but looks awesome as well.
Most of the guys that have a pistagp or corsa here bought it from www.championhelmets they offer excellent prices and have a good customer service.

D store stocks matte white and black of the corsa and pista. Both sf and la, give them a call.

interesting...I'm just weighing my Pista and my Corsa right now.....

Pista (carbon) - 2.9lbs
Corsa - 3.3lbs

0.4lbs difference.

Besides the weight difference, the pista looks way better than the corsa. The carbon fiber just looks awesome
