Don't know if you can tell in that picture, but there is a little metal tag in front of each helmet holder that says "His" and "Hers"

Just to confirm peeps the race 2 visor fits the new GPR. There is a difference in the latching mechanisms but it seems to seal just fine. Grabbed a race 2 visor for $65 on eBay vs the race 3(clear)which isn't even out yet and will be north of $100 easily when it's released.

For anyone interested in an AGV i came upon another site that has them for even cheaper. AGV Pista GP R Glossy Carbon Helmet - Champion Helmets | Motorcycle Helmets, Clothing & Gear

The GP R is only $700 us shipped and the race 3 iridiums are $65.00. They tricked me real nice though. I placed an order on monday for the helmet which they said was in stock and when i asked about shipping times they replied back to say it wasnt actually in stock and were awaiting their shipment. The prices are kind of too good to be true so heres hoping it comes lol Paid with my CC so im not too worried.

wow, that's a REALLY good price.

might be a dumb question, but can the shields from the Pista/Corsa not be used on the new R versions? I realize that the new ones are thicker than the old ones, but aside from that, would the old one not fit into the new one's latching system?

Like i said its almost too good to be true. I bought the old pista GP 2 months ago for just over $1000 Canadian and i thought that was a steal already. I just ordered the GP R with some extra visors and it came to $1100 shipped. I'll definitely keep you guys up to date on this order but ive read a lot of good reviews on championhelmets so this could be a good thing for any riders looking for an agv

Yes the old pista visors will work on the new R's. GK1199R confirmed it 2 posts up lol

The old version is race 2 and i according to the champion site the GP R version is the race 3.

Do not buy from champion helmets!! They claim they have it in stock but do not. I purchased from them and waited over two weeks for a response and never got so much as an anticipated ship date. I had to dispute the charge to force a refund. If you don't want the helmet for a while then yes they do have the best price. Otherwise Buy from motostorm.it. I still paid right around $1000 for the lid. Be aware that they will not have the necessary DOT stickers for use on US highways. This is a track only helmet for me so I didn't care. They also helped me complete the necessary customs forms upon request. Great customer service!!

Championhelmets is great! Bought my rpha10 JL carbon, pista gp soleluna and corsa handprint from them without any problems at all. All 3 helmets were delivered in less than 2 weeks. Carbon JL was 325 (not available in the u.s.) handprint was a steal at 550 and pista soleluna was 900. No customs issue either.

Im definitely not cool with how they tricked me but i cant complain because their prices are so insanely low. My season doesnt start for another 2 months so im not too worried and ive got the other helmets to use just in case. I also dont have 1199R money so for me the $300 makes a difference lol

Thanks for the reassurance doubleo! im confident ill get the helmet eventually. Ive been in contact with some other dealers and the consensus is they should be arriving within the next couple weeks. I was beyond skeptical that they were the only guys with the AGVs in stock so i checked some other lids and there were a couple where it did state not in stock. Kinda had my hopes up until i emailed them to see when they would ship it out.

Just checked and they raised them to 935 US and so did burnoutitaly. Its still a decent price compared to 1400 on the other sites but keep in mind these wont have the DOT stickers. Ebay has them for $5.00 if you wanted lol I would think the euro models are identical to the us version but please correct me if im wrong.

If anyone wants the GP R for $835 US i have a raincheck at burnoutitaly. They wouldnt take a deposit but sent me an email to say they would honor the sale price when stock arrived.

Crazy, I sent 5 emails between PayPal and their website with 0 responses. Oh well. Already got my lid so I'm not complaining!!

If you guys wanna buy iridium or any other colored visors... I know where to find them for $64.95 (they are usually like $90+) new and shipped in the US...

I don't know if its a mistake or they are clearing out inventory but the price should be for the CLEAR visor and it SHOULD change to $90+ when you select the colored ones but it just doesn't!!!! Hurry up before it gets fixed, lol

The website seems legit (apparently is a store from FL and they also have an ebay account which, compared to their website, charges the $90+ for the colored visors) but I wanted to buy from a known online store so I just asked for a price match at revzilla and they did....

EDIT1: I have the Pista GP version 1.. don't know if the visors are compatible with the newer versions

I got my Iridium Silver yesterday... it comes pinlock ready (inner pins) and also has the posts for the tear-offs and it's scratch resistant... good deal!
