I am about to order a new Supersport S with ALOT of extras, including the full titanium exhaust. Ducati have informed me that I have to wait for the first service before I install the exhaust? Can anyone confirm this for me?
I was told the same when I ordered my 899, something about the special break in oil etc.. didn’t bother me that much if that what they needed to do to warranty the install then so be it; maybe someone smarter than me can chime in...
maybe there is a fuel mapping that is created for the first 1000km to aid runing-in ?

as a rule if the dealer is recommending it, then follow the advice, to prevent any headaches if issues arise during the run in period
