Akrapovic install (and comparisons with Termi Full)

No worries. Thick skin here. I consider myself lucky to have the opportunity to have both of them side by side and I'm doing this hopefully to get more info out to our forum members and friends the differences with the 2, with the limited knowledge I have. :)

Alright lunch time....will start the install of the Akra's after lunch.
 
Is there even an upmap for the Akra? I was told that anything other than the Termi voids the factory warranty.
 
please tell me you plan on firing that bad boy up once its installed and posting a nice vid :D
 
It's in my condo. So I don't know about firing up long enough to post a vid....but I'll fire it up to make sure there's no leaks. Hopefully no one calls the cops or building management. LOL
 
Nitrouz, make sure you clean the visible parts of the pipe with a alcohol/water solution before firing it up. I would hate for the brand new Akras to get finger prints burned into the finish.

I wiped my Termis down with WD40 after I installed them to remove the fingerprints. After it got hot it smoked for about 5 minutes while the WD40 burned off, but they look great. They're even turning slightly blue and purple :cool:

Also taking off the charcoal canister, changing the sprocket carrier and bolts, axle bolts front and rear, and carbon chain guard. Then putting the fairings back together.

How do you get to work on the hardwood? Especially in the dining room.... My wife would kill me. Lol nice floors !!!:D

But seriously what mind control tactics did you employ ?
