Does anyone have close up pictures of their full akra exhaust mufflers/ports. I was emailing akra to see if they would sell they're titanium pipes separate( i bought the mufflers and wish i would have just got the full) and everything that i've seen the mufflers look the exact same between the full and the slip exhaust muffler wise- the only piece that is tweaked to make fit the stock pipes is the Y pipe that comes with the mufflers.

See if you can find 15R headers, they're titanium. You won't get rid of the flapper that way though..

Note sure if this is the part you want a picture of or not. If not please explain a little more and I can try and take it for you.

Blade i appreciate that deff helps- Do you have a picture of the ports on the mufflers ( where the Y pipe goes in). Your Y pipe portion that inserts into the muffler looks the exact same as mine- Difference being that my Y pipe stops and has holes for the 3 screws to bolt to the stock headers. ( obviously if replacing all the pipes youd replace the Headers along with the Y pipe.

First off thats crazy i mise well sell my slips for 2100 and buy the full system haha.

Lol you asked for the pipes. I just seen some. Didn't mention a price.

Happy selling/buying :D

No I am sorry I dont. All my pictures of the mufflers is from the other side. I never thought to take a picture of the inside of the muffler. I have a close up of the back part with the y pipe installed but I dont know if that will help.

So i've actually found the part whoopazz showed me much cheaper- and worth the price. Just want to clarify to see if anyone can verify that this should work. This is specified for the 1299. However the original full Akra has always fit the 1299 and 1199- Reason the slip ons do not is because of the Y pipe that is provided with the 1199 version (Doesn't connect to the stock 1299 headers) But essentially everything else is the same? What about where the Akra on the 1299 connects to the subframe? same as the 1199? Are the heat shields the same between a 1199 full system and a 1299 full system? I would assume yes if a 1199 can be used on a 1299. Thanks guys!

According to Akra you can not use slip ons with the piping because of a bracket?

Akras have always been like that. You can't skimp out and piece it together. You either pony up and buy the full system or gather your pennies and get the slip on. lol

Yeah i get that. I think at the time i didn't really care- I still really don't i have 0 use for a full system- I simply wanted the sound/ better looking cans. Now i want to see Titanium :D

I would think your best bet would be to find some R Akras, then have a muffler shop fabricate the connector. I shops here in CA can do that.
