Nothing against AR as I think they are doing a awesome job in getting their gear on the market for the 1199. There was even 2 guys at the shop from England raving about the AR system:D

But I have seen graphs from AMS Texas, Frasers Sydney and a independent tester and they all got increased power with the full system and up map.

Once I get my bike I will also do some tests and put up some graphs.

Wallaroo that would be good to see. I was at Fraser MC in Sydney one day back early May and they had a 1199 up in the Dyno with Full Termi system. I do not know what figures they got on those tests.

Its worth just waiting. This bike is very complex with the limited space for silencers and pipework. We are at the tooling stage for the silencers. Our full system will be in Inconel with titanium silencers. The very best fuelling solution will be the PCV which we expect to come around the same time as our slip on silencers and full systems. Estimate 6 weeks.

soooo excited. thanks for keeping us in the loop :D

Frasers don't know how to dyno a bike is Frasers Perth is anything to go by IMHO - wouldn't read much into their numbers.

Had my harley dyno'd by an independent experience tuner the same day I had a dynp graph from Frasers - they said they tuned it but it ran like ..... Frasers overstated the HP and TQ massively, and the independent made it run sweet and smooth...never trusted Frasers to touch it again.

I am monitoring progress on the exhaust system and you were saying about 6 weeks. This posting was July 18th, so we are about the 6 week point but I have not seen any updates what so ever. Not even on your website. Is there any updates??

Yes the update is that tooling companies are struggling to produce the required parts at reasonable cost. We are closer but behind schedule. We are looking at launching the system at the nec uk show in November.
This bike is just so awkward to work with, many companies just won't bother producing for it.
We will work as fast as we can.

I'm hoping someone will make an exhaust that ain't so damn loud so I can do trackdays without getting a black flag all the time .

I would love an exhaust which has a more modest note but a little more grunt like a roaring Ducati needs.

They will have removable db killers that will pull it down but you cant have a roar and power with no noise!

I agree on the roar but I have to disagree on the noise... The BMW bursts out the same amount of horsepower ( maybe more ) but isn't nearly as loud. A bike doesn't have to scream at 110 db to produce power.

Quack and Transnone13 . the bike in the pics is Scott Smart's. MotoRapido's number 1 rider. He is also " an heir of "you know who".

In his case his dad is Paul Smart, as in "Ducati Sport Classic Paul Smart 1000 Limited Edition"

So has anyone seen, bought, tried or tested these Akra cans/headers yet???

A large twin and V4 engine produce higher db levels than an inline 4.

We are continually testing muffler and db killer design for optimum performance.

I agree with AR, there is very little room for pipe and or muffler changes. And the termi has shown, at least in one instance, to provide less horsepower. Maybe Akra is going for the bling and weight savings. Riders are spending 3500 for BST CF wheels that just provide bling/weight.

We're pleased to provide two images of the upcoming Panigale exhaust system, now in development, for release in November.
The Panigale needs no introduction"”however, Motorcycle News (MCN) summed it up best "˜'The Panigale sounds gorgeous, has the best brakes, is lighter and more agile than all its direct competitors. The Panigale won many fans and a resounding seal of approval. It has brought a smile back to the world of superbikes, got everyone talking about them and even the most cynical hacks just loved its performance, power delivery and ease of riding. Many tests ended with the ultimate closing line "˜I want one!'"
So if your customers are in the market for a stunning Italian superbike, one that really delivers on its Ducati promise, then look no further than the 1199 Panigale. But just remember to add the finishing touch: the Akrapovič exhaust system for improved power and sound, and less weight.
Here are some facts:
Akrapovič Evolution Line (Titanium).
The system will fulfill FIM noise regulations and will come with a noise-reduction insert allowing the noise level to be reduced.
Weight: approximately 6 kg.
