My DP Alarm starting acting up. Whenever I start the bike, the alarm goes off. I cannot turn it off, I have to wait for it to stop. When the bike is off, the keyfob won't set it, or make it go off.

Until I get it looked at, is there a way to disable it and still ride the bike?

Ok. I believe you can just unplug it if it's accessible and leave it off. Or disconnect the ground off of it at the battery.

Edit first try going into the bikes menu and disabling it.

I unplug it, it won't start - and there is not an option on a menu to change.

Might not be relevant, but, did you check the battery on the key fob? Maybe it's out of battery and not controlling the alarm system? Or maybe it needs to be reprogrammed since it's not communicating with the unit.

So after talking to Ducati and 3 dealerships, no one has a clue what the problem is. So I disconnected it from the Ignition harness for the time being, but now I have an amber engine light :( Runs fine though.
