Thanks to the good chaps over at Cycle Pro - RapidBike, I will be their first sponsored racer next season. Here are some pics of the bike from yesterday. Getting the sponsorship decals installed. Decals produced by Scott from srsigndesign.

I hope your laps are as hot as the bike!

Congrats and I wish you the best of luck!!!

I'm pretty quick, and I'm getting faster and faster every time I go to the track. We will see how racing goes next year. It's all about seat time.

Cool!

What series are you racing? See that you are on Bridgestones?

I'll be racing in Wera Florida/southeast region. Looking at Southeast so I can mix it up with some of my old crew from DC/VA area. We didn't have a Pirelli sticker, so we used Bridgestone instead. I'm going to test with both and see which one I prefer. Price will be a variable as well.

Aaaaand you can get contingency on b-stones as soon as you get out if that orange shirt and you get on the podium :D

You have to have them on though...

Phil, are you running the V02s?

It's Bitubo suspension front and rear. I believe the rear is specifically a XXF-61 race shock. The front are ECH-29 nitrogen gas inserts. That's the same setup I'm running plus a Bitubo gas steering damper. Excellent stuff.

That is affirmative. I am using the Sharksinz bodywork. It was painted by Sean of CCR - Connecticut Cycle Refinishing.

A word of advice.

Don't put any stickers on from anyone that isn't providing some kind of support. You need to run it like a business.

Macke, any updates since your last review?

Soulrider, we will see. I have some really good times at both Jennings and Barber and I was getting faster. Racing is different, but I can't wait.

Thanks for the heads up Charlie. That's exactly how I'm carrying it. Cycle Pro-RapidBike are giving me great support.

I can't make the Barber date we talked about, but I can make the Southern Day at Jennings the beginning of November.

Yes it is, banging bars, rubbing elbows and swapping paint at speed is much different than lapping quickly by yourself. Motorcycle road racing in a crowd is a blast. Once the field gets strung out it switches from combat to hitting your marks and laying consistent fast laps.
