I bought my Titax levers from a Czech company...absolutely no issues. Been fitted to my 999S for three years.

These are the style I have fitted:

More like I used to, I think the stock levers on the Pani are just fine. I had to farkle out my Gixxers before because they were Gixxers, they don't come awesome.

Farkle? What's that? Farting sparkles?:p must be a Canadian thing...

Idk guys I think you are all being kinda rude I've gotten Chinese stuff that was better than some of the dp performance stuff.. I saw a dp carbon rear fender and it was ..... If it looks good and it's cheap go for it. Why would you spend 250 for levers that are only 10 dollars worth of metal. Sounds like he's the smart one

It's not about the price of the material, it's the quality of the craftsmanship. It's like going out for a nice filet mignon and washing it down with a $10 bottle of rosé.

Just had a few new parts arrive from ebay, thought I would give my opinion on them. I bought these from ebay trader name "mfactory" based in Hong Kong (bought other products for my streetfighter project a few years back), they fitted perfectly, arrived well packaged and quick. The levers are adjustable length, shorty to factory length, depth and also folding. Pegs are super grippy and look good and not out of place.

I have no problem with aftermarket parts if they are made in Taiwan or China provided they are good A-Grade quality stuff.

Now the problem though with aftermarket Levers is the "angle" of the lever curving or bend before extendingto the handlebar grip. As in most cases they will interfere and hit with the plastic throttle housing when do or apply hard braking... If you notice how long the OEM lever is before it curves into the handlebar grip? That angle of the curve is what is very important. Should not interfere with plastic throttle housing when you apply brakes.
The DP levers are designed not to interfere with the throttle housing at all.

Based on your photo...seems like it will interfere with the throttle housing...just check though....

It's his bike, I believe he can do what he wants with it. As long as the parts are safe and reliable, his bike will be fine functionally. There are parts, materials on the bike already that leave some things to be desired. I wish the S came with stronger/lighter carbon panel parts that don't give off the flexi plastic feel, although the flex is not a sign of weakness but feels cheap. That's just my opinion. I think that for the money the Pani is designed more refined that lesser bikes, or virtually all other bikes, IMO hehe.

Didn't mean to rub anybody the wrong way with my opinion on this topic but I'm really not into knock off sh*t... Levers, car parts, stereos, paintings, movies, clothes, flooring, nothing. If I buy something cheap I'll most likely fu*k it up or lose it, if I buy something nice I'm not got to turn around and put cheap replacement parts on it.

I'm the same, but also believe in other's logical choice.

I personally would fork up for the DP levers, but the stock ones are shapely and comfortable, whereas the DP ones have more square edge, improving the feel with gloves on, much like a H&K pistol with square grip, giving the hand a positive feel on positioning.

What I mean is: how do you know, where this OEM ducatiparts is made? Italy?

Like in here swizerland, if you buy swiss watch (omega, rolex etc.) it's need to made in
Swizerland, that's is law in here...

As stated, this was for others that may not want to pay the over inflated prices for a product that has Ducati on them. I have used these before on race and road bikes and had no issues as a few of you have mentioned, cynical bunch comes to mind, most products in the automotive industry are produced in taiwan under licence of the manufacturer, I worked for a Direct import company that sold OE suspension parts for cars and they all came out of Taiwan before being shipped to Japan, Australia and the USA (yes your precious USA), usually written on the box designed in USA, made in Taiwan, all made with quality steels/alloys etc. Yes you can state that the product from China is ....., because some of it is. Yes I can actually afford to buy the DP brand, or an R if I wanted, I wanted to buy a Base as who need to adjust there suspension on the fly? Yes in white, yes it is fast, as fast as my Tri Colore mates, he can attest from our Akaroa GP ride in the weekend. I think you should all take a good hard look at yourselves before judging others, and yes I know some of it is gentle or not so gentle banter in some cases.
The reason I bought a Panigale was my wife said go and treat yourself something nice after being diagnosed with a rare smooth muscle cancer (Leimyosarcoma) at the end of last year, it was always a dream of mine to go into the Ducati dealership with cash and say I want to take that one, a brand new bike, (owned a few Ducatis in the past that I heavily modified) in my instance I had to wait for it to arrive from Italy-Australia the New Zealand, well worth the wait to unwrap my first new bike, in white it was far better than any picture could show.
I think you guys out there with the red or Tri are secretely thinking ....., I wish I had the balls to stand out in a crowd on my white Panigale, but my boyfriends might tease me, but I will be like all the other sheep and have a Red one.

So heres a pic of how I paid for my bike for all you old prudes out there that have nothing better to do with your time but poke fun at others choices in life.

Last questions, were you bullied at school or did your father tamper with your little winkies when you were sleeping???

Why some people feel the need to trash someone else's bike is beyond me. They should worry more about their own image than someone else's. I only by DP does that make me cool. Please tell me it does.

Wyatt Earp would be rolling over in his grave if he knew you guys plastered his picture on your pink money. I wouldn't give you a Panigale for a truck load of that stuff! ;)
