Update #6

:D Finally!!!! I've got all kits, and IMHO they really look great . I picked them up today and started repackaging. As mentioned I will include next to the kit some zip ties, 2 Inox M8 washers and 2 low-profile Inox M8 nuts and 2 polyamid M8 washers for mounting the indicators. For free of course.

So, what you get is:
1 left bracket (3 CNC parts, black anodized)
1 right bracket (3 CNC parts, black anodized)
4 hollow titanium grade 5 M6 screws
2 hollow titanium grade 5 M8 screws
2 M8 low-profile hex nuts
2 M8 inox washers
2 M8 polyamid washers
some zip ties

Now, what are the costs?
Planned was a approx. limit of 200.- USD per kit.

Production costs was CHF 2398.54 (CHF = Swiss Francs). This amount is from two international payments over a total of EUR 1905.- plus SEPA fees). It's for 13 kits. So one kit is CHF 184.50 (which is about USD 195.- or about 220 australian dollars).

Registered shippment from Switzerland to US and Down Under is CHF 26.-

So I need to charge you guys CHF 210.50 for a kit including shippment (that's about USD 222.- or 250.- Australian Dollars).

I'll PM all of you my Paypal address, would be great if you would transfer the money with the "Gift" option. As soon as I received the money, package will be on its way!

For you guys who ordered some Rizoma parts as well: I'll PM you the grand total today. Same for the one guy that ordered two of the kits.

This little project is a new and personally very rewarding experience for me. Thank you all for your support!

Cheers

Outstanding work Gecko...not many would go to these lengths to help others for no profit, hope you put a little bit of fat in there for a few beers, we all owe you one.

Cheers

How To Guide

Today was very entertaining and funny: Phil1199 came to my shed and we installed new Rizoma Graffio direction indicators, an evotech tidy tail and the Rizoma spy mirrors on his Panigale.

So I decided to write a very short how-to regarding installation of the front direction indicators:

- remove upper side fairings on left and right side
- remove mickey mouse ears
- remove plastic piece below headlight
- remove nose fairing

These steps have been covered very well in other threads on this great forum.

- remove the plastic piece behind the dashboard: 4 hex screws
- prepare the direction indicator brackets as shown on picture 4 I attached
- install the brackets on the LED headlight heat sinks
- use zip ties to hold together cables and connectors in the nose bay.
- clean all parts!
- check proper function of rear and front direction indicators. If they flicker or the blinking frequency is too high, install the parallel resistors delivered together with the Rizoma LEDs
- assemble all parts together in reverse order. Except the OEM mirrors of course. We installed the DP mirror block-off plates instead. done!

Phil1199's bike (1199 S) is one of the first Panigales delivered to Switzerland in 2012. A great bike with a lot of history. Altough the LED recall has been done, the LED direction indicators did not work at once. We had to install the resistors that came with the blinkers. After that everything was perfect. On my Tri and the SL, resistors were not required. Funny italian electronics...
