They weren't even running the Termi cans on the Ducati. I suppose the larger headers were not installed either. The BMW on the other hand, had the full system it comes with installed. Seems like to keep things even, they should have installed the full Termi system on the R. A win is a win however small it may be.

Great video. It's an awesome track weapon. Just check out the Superstock results in wsbk.

The magazine article in CW is 1 of the couple deciding factors that led to my R purchase.
However I did not know of this vid' 1st I have seen. In print they changed the S/A pivot to Neg' position for increased traction out of the corners, I'll have go and read it again

Thanks for sharing both great bikes, but just 1 is a work of art

It's interesting that when you put a good rider on the Panigale, it's runs faster laps than the HP4. Every review with a good rider.

Laguna has the most Draconian noise restrictions of any track I've been to or heard of, and the twins percussive exhaust note really carries, compared to the howling wail of an I 4.

guess you missed the part where he said (6:11) he would take the bmw over the duc. guess you missed that part

Here we go again... You guys are splitting hairs... both are great bikes to own.

Some of you are lucky enough to be able to own both...

I heard that, but I'm a track guy and going faster means a lot to me. And I have no problems with guys on BMWs. And I can't wait to get Evol back on the track.

How many of people on this forum can ride either bike near it's limits?

Both bikes are incredible.:)

It's a fair comparison because the bikes were tested as they ship.

If you're going to put the Termis on the R you also need to switch to the cat-less link pipe on the HP4 and remap it as well.

Not many, however I do believe a few forum members do indeed have the skills to push the bike to its near limits. I am just not one of them.

Yes both bikes are indeed incredible.

Sorry but Ducati is still not wining on wsbk and also I don't care about superstock. This is the first time in Ducati history that they are racing with a bike that it won't win and the only reason they can do it is because now the got Audi big pocket.
