Not necessarily. Warranty vs no warranty. Cost of ownership? I buy my bikes because they are awesome to ride not because they are unique.

Btw, I haven't even looked into insurance yet.

Other than replacing parts if you drop it, I can't see it being anymore expensive to maintain really.

I've yet to ride mine since here is snow on the ground still and I just got her. I would assume so though......although living in alaska I never once thought my 1199 got too hot.

I'm sure sherpa would have a better idea since he rides his a lot.

I have started her up and she sounds amazing though!
