That's pretty cool tinus675! Perhaps the least vibration I have seen, and I like the fact that you can see the handlebar/steering movement.
Where can you get the accessory from (GoPro Key Mount)?
Is it sitting in tightly locked? I also wonder if it works for larger GoPro (Hero4).

for the damper mount

This is what I use works perfect.. Just mount the rubber plug in the steering stem hole and tighten up the nut you can then mount anything you want to the Ram Ball and it is not in the way at full tuck..

Cool man. The gopro was set to LINEAR, will check what it looks like in wide.
There is no accessory, I removed the standard Clip-In footplate from the gopro, modified the key thickness with a blade and slid it between the grooves of the gopro case. Put a 4mm bolt and nut through.

I must say, I thought it was going to vibrate, but because this connection is not straight onto the suspension and I think the movement in the key itself absorbs vibration, or the session 5 gopro has amazing image stabilization..... Check the fluids in the reservoirs go ballistic!

I made this out of a bit of aluminum plate, a piece of tubing and a couple of long bolts

I would be afraid that eventually the vibrations would screw up the tumblers in the ignition lock? They Key seems like a pretty flimsy mount and would vibrate a lot.. Just an impression I might be wrong..

Agreed, I don't even hang anything else on my car keys. Not good for the ignition switch.

When i use the stem mount my tom tom sticks out too mch and it looks out of place, i really do not recommend using tom tom charger with mount.

I could have made the aluminum plate a little smaller, but if doesn't interfere with anything and it gives me options if I change out cameras that may have a different shaped mount.

The red aluminum anodized GoPro mount has a 1/4x20 threaded hole, so it's actually bolted, from underneath, to the plate.

Can you provide a link to this? Been trying to find it, no luck though :/

Anybody tried this way to mount gopro?
I like it, sits in a good spot out of view. Gets a nice wide view and instruments. And you always remove the key when you get off anyway.
Vibration and movement might kill it, but I have to go for a ride to test.

That's an awesome set up :)

Thought someone may find this useful...

Basically, taking advantage of the hole at the other end of the left handlebar (you need to take the rubber cap off). Took me less than 5 min to get the ball installed inside (from SW-MOTECH). I have RAM accessories, and could fit my GPS, GoPro and iPhone 6 Plus perfectly fine.

Cheers!

Could you provide a link to this kit? I cannot find this kit with Go pro mount.

I can only find this or this

I just want to mount a go pro, thats all.

The article number is:
SW-Motech: Article #: CPA.00.424.16000/B

Link to their site:
Sat navs attachment for sport bikes, ball mounting on the motorbike handlebar.

Having said that, I also bought the Desmoworld cam mounting hub (link below). A bit pricey but I have to say, it looks beautiful on th bike! It looks as if it came with the bike... I am traveling, but when I return I can send some pix.
