Okay, I don't actually have Panigale V2, but I just put down a deposit on one and am told I should have it in 2-3 weeks (hopefully). Never had a Ducati. I have a KTM 890R Duke and a BMW R1200RS for long distance rides. Just started doing a couple track days with friends and really enjoyed it. Hoping the V2 will be a fun canyon bike and occasional track days bike. This forum is a wealth of information. Looking forward to learning more about our Italian steed and what makes it tick... Thanks for having me!

Congrats, I'm in the same boat as you. Put a deposit on a V2 over a month ago (my first Ducati as well) but still waiting. It was supposed to be here by now but ended up getting delayed. The wait is tough to say the least, especially during bike season. This forums great, there are a few cranky old trolls here that pop up occasionally but aside from that bunch it's a good place to talk with fellow enthusiasts.

Congrats, Rocket (and GP0801). I also recently made a deposit on a V2, however, I got a call from a different dealer the next day saying one just came available. I've only had mine for a few days, did one long ride in the canyons and came away pretty impressed. It's also my first Ducati.

Congrats! You'll have a blast. Indeed there is a library of info and the knowledge base here is amazing. Forum advice: Don't get lost in the crazy banter though - it can get a little off topic to say the least. Some guys like to joke around.

Great choice as they are quite flickable from corner to corner.

I'm at 7600 miles or so on my 2020.

Nice, that's a pretty lucky coincidence. Hope you enjoy it for a long time to come.

My dealer emailed me and my bike shipped today. Says should have it in about 10 days. I just ordered the Ducati Spacers heat shield kit (heard these things can get uncomfortably warm) and the spacer kit for the slack in the throttle housing. Want a new exhaust but will have to wait. Was wondering if anyone was using any kind of tank protection, either clear, or other to prevent scratches from zippers, etc. Also, is it a good idea to remove the charcoal canister from the start, or only if having starting issues? No, I'm not getting excited :)

congrats !! I got mine in February and it's everything I hoped and more ( aside from the heat ). I'm sure you'll love it.

Yeah I heard back from them the other day too, expecting to have it in two weeks.
