Any clever ways to lock your helmet to your bike?

Yeah, I guess if I was wearing $80 dollar cap/helmet, I wouldn't care as much but when it's in $900 + for helmets I wear with Ducati... No way I am leaving it behind.

^KS is an optional helmet state but I ALWAYS wear a helmet. And so does my passenger. I'm definitely not going to ask her to carry around that $80 helmet when I can lock it to my bike and if someone steals it, too bad. Or I guess I might get stuck with carrying two helmets because I'm definitely carrying my $900 helmet with me. :)

Hopefully this helmet lock is a good way to transport a second helmet to her location as well.

I don't have a pic, but I use same gun lock first poster showed locked to handlebars. Only I lock it up to the rear shock component right behind the yellow shock spring. That way it's out of the way, fairly flush and off the ground. Gun lock is easily stored under seat or in your bag and I have a few of them. Don't lock on the D rings, but actually run the lock cable through thre face opening of full helmet. They would have to destroy the helmet to get it off there and with it locked that way, they don't have a lot of free cable to try to get to.

I think i will keep my spare gun lock stored under the seat as well. Never really have left my helmet on my bike because of my paranoia but if I ever come across a time that I must leave my helmet behind, I'll have the lock ready.

Locks only discourage honest people . A thief will get it if they want it that bad . Had a brand new crf450 stolen with padlocks on the garage and a cryptonite cable securing the bike !!!! Talk about .... luck !! A lot more than the cost of a lid !

When you ride around with 5' worth of cables where are they kept? A bag? That seems like ALOT of work.
