Any suggestions on how to mount a radar detector to my V2

Hello all

Have any of you mounted a windshield mounted radar detector to your bike?
I've been pulling out my hair trying to figure out how to mount mine without blocking my dashboard.

I’m not sure how valuable having a radar detector is these days. I use a QuadLock and fire up Waze. It’s great getting police and traffic alerts over Bluetooth. Just a suggestion.

absolutely recommend a RD, this is a uniden R-7 but the Valentine G2 is highly rated.

V1 is where it’s at unless you go full K40. G2 is superb but so is the original.

my youngest mentioned the dis-tronic type cruise controls (audi, merc, ect) give too many false notifications.

the vertical mounting picks up speed cams better, ive got arrows on the r7 to tell where its coming from, plus diy led warning lights on the screen lip.Heres a good source Motorcycle Discussions

Nice video. What mount did you use for the detector? Any issues with the device coming loose? Cheers.
