Love the V4's tft display but darnn if the steering damper doesn't reflect when the sun is overheard. I'm thinking about painting mine matte black. Anyone ever done this?

Plastidip might be a good solution because it’s matte and you can peel it off later.

Do some searching and you will find carbon fibre covers. Maybe Shift Tech sells one ??

Painters tape and ultra flat black Krylon. Couple of bucks, nothing fancy, does the job. If you’re going to get a cover make sure the finish doesn’t defeat the point.

thanks. yep, that's the way i'm leaning

Vinyl wrap it. Easy to do and can be undone. If you do a good job of the wrap it will look like a factory finish.

Reason I painted is that other ideas were not as good as the ultra flat paint from a complete glare reducing perspective. My solution was strictly functional. Paint is easily removable with the proper solvent

I've got some of the krylon ultra on the way. Thanks for the tip. Looks like a black hole in a can
