I've been reading for a couple days about mapping, TuneBoy, Rapidbike, Bazzaz etc etc and figure it might behoove me to get my bike mapped in an effort to fill in the midrange dip and smooth out the throttle responce. Anyone have a suggestion on where to go in Maine or Nh?

Seacoastsport in NH is top-notch.
If they give you the option on your mechanic, ask for Kyle Thompson to work on your bike.

Kyle wrenches on all my bikes, he's actually fitting new forks this week among some other tweeks; as a matter of fact he's going to take a look at the current mapping.. I haven't talked to him in a few days tho and I was just brain storming.. Seems like some time on the rollers might be a good idea.. Then again he may have an Ace up his sleeve; he usually does, brilliant man and a great guy.. Seacoast has a Dyno?

I believe they do have a dyno. There is a video on their site demonstrating the 1299's shiftless function on it. But you could always go the RapidBike module and self-tune it to save on dyno time. Just a thought.

Ok, good to know on the dyno.. Yeah, I'm considering the evo system, sounds like the self-learning process is pretty painless.. I'll get with Kyle and see what makes the most sense. Most everything he's set up for me has been litterally "set it and forget it"...

Yeah, Kyle at Seacoast. Don't take your baby to MotoMilano. The dyno is in a metal crate out in the back. Charles is the guy you want to talk to you want to dyno. I can't say enough good things about Seacoast.

Where you from in Maine? I ride to Freeport quite often. Put 200+ miles today from Salem NH to Putney VT. Went with the Desmo club.

I hear ya.. Ive never really relied on Moto Milano for much of anything; I think Jerry did the belts on my 906 years ago and I buy oil from them every once in a while.. Then I met Kyle; the rest is history...
Theres a small group of us up in the MidCoast, I'm from Round Pond originally but I live in Nobleboro now.. Great place to ride; usually 3 of us and we dont raise the eyebrows like a big group of riders does.. I actually just took a look at Seacoasts site and saw the dyno info.. I guess i'll schedule that for after the shop work...
Do you ride up for the European Motorcycle gathering @ Sunday River in Bethel?

No I haven't. But I plan to do a long ride from NH Here.

When is it? I might come check it out.

That link kinda came through strange.. Is Gardener your final destination?
You must have some connection with the area, its usually not a "destination" per se, tho for some there is a bit of small town charm.. If you need a place to eat and a soda after being on the road the Liberal Cup in Hollowell is good..
As the crow flies, backroads (good ridin) I'm 30/35 minutes from there..
They changed the name of the bike gathering to "Northeast European Motorcycle Rally"; https://m.facebook.com/NortheastEur...facebook.com/NortheastEuropeanMotorcycleRally
Then in the early fall we have this show @ Owls Head Transportation Museum, usually a great turnout if the weather cooperates..

Thanks for the link. I'll check it out if I'm free.
Yeah Gardner is a strange little town, I'm going to visit a friend in Danforth, so midway I'm going to stay the night in Gardner.

Idk if you can see the link clearly but from Salem NH, I'll be going to Mt Washington, Rt 16 to Gorham then Rt2 into Bethel, down to Oxford then making my way over to Gardiner.
235 miles a day, then 211 to Danforth. Lots of grin riding :)
