I plan on painting mine black at some point. I know there's a few photoshop 1199's online but any real plans?? thoughts?? advise?? :)

I was thinking about doing a nice white... Other colors I have considered are a pastel olive green or something similar to frozen space grey

Not repainting the Tri! Although, I DO wanna get a set of track skins, and flat black all the way! /drool

Pearl White...but only if I lay her over...and she survives ;)

Advice: dont do it your self LOL...unless you're capable ofcourse

I was talking with my parts guy and he showed me a Tri with a lot of cool work done to it. flush mount front turn signals - removed the front mirrors - block of plates to cover the holes. Rizoma clutch and brake reseviors - Then when I was ready to walk out he said "by the way this guy is painting the Tri matte black!!!!"

WTF! Why order a Tri and paint it matter black?

I told him to tell the guy to sell his skins - order tracks skins and paint them

CRAZY!!

Agree complete madness and waste of money that could be best spent elsewhere!

I do however love a picture that I have seen on it in black (not matte black) and looks awesome, anyone any idea show much it would cost to get it done in UK?

My pani is at the painter at the moment, before delivery to me its gonna be artic silk white just like the 848evo,but letting my wheels just black!probaly the only white pani in country!!!:)

Let the good days come!!!

That's gonna be gorgeous! I loved my 848EVO in the arctic white silk. Got compliments everywhere we went.

Please post pics asap

I am thinking about painting it full black, to the point you don't even have "DUCATI" written on it.
And maybe painting the Termi line and some grey pieces to gold, like the forks.

I've been toying with the idea of placing DUCATI across the bottom similar to the Tri. Red was always my least favorite color for Ducs but now that I have one I kinda like it. I like doing subtle changes to make it mine so we'll see what I can come up with.

I am going to replace all my Tri fairings and tank with Carbon Fibre and then paint it in Red and White with Carbon showing as well.

After mine gets battered and bruised from the unavoidable schitt surface break-up we have in UK (otherwise known as roads!) I'm thinking of matching my old R1 colour scheme.
Always loved the Martini scheme.......

beanflicker, that is one sweet r1, also would look the goods on the pani.
cheers burty.

I'm holding out for some vinyl wraps for mine when i get it...I really want the Tricolore scheme but done like that photochopped one with primarily black...

Beanflicker, loving that scheme on the R1. What does it say on the fairing? "Any Time, Any Place, ...?"
