Curiosity question really, don't own the bike so I can check myself and when I test rode a buddies I was keeping my eyes firmly on the road when I grabbed a handfull of throttle.

Every gear is fecking fast and when you hit 8000 rpm in each gear it's fecking, fecking fast with a capital F!! :D

Don't mean to be facetious but whatever it is it's way over my skill level to control a bike!!

Not being facetious, I was out on my buddies and did some full throttle pulls through third and into fourth and did not have time to look at how fast that is. Just curious.

Tested out each gear till the 4th multiple times ... Rest are from YouTube vids.. Speeds are speedometer reads, so actual gps speeds are prolly lower by 5-10%

1st.. 72mph
2nd.. 96
3rd.. 123
4th.. 142
5th. 164
6th.. 186 then (-) sign

I was bummed to see ---,after 186 mph . Felt like it was still pulling .

I have video on the front stretch at Fontana at 177mph in 5th gear with more rpms left...

my GPS has consistently measured 181mph maxed out in 6th gear, but I have a 41T rear sprocket. I think with the stock gearing it's closer to 190mph, but that's a guesstimate. It's a Garmin Zumo; I have absolutely no idea regarding the accuracy of Garmin's GPS but I'm assuming it's good. Certainly better than the speedometer, which blanks out :p

A local 1199 Panigale did 199+mph (just a fraction under 200mph) in a standing mile, with a 36 or 37T rear sprocket? (can't remember exactly how many teeth).
