For track use, I guess it is absolutely superior for feel and threshold breaking.

What does it have to be done, plug the abs module and new brake lines?

Thanks man

So some plugs, and front lines and that is it?

Anyone running this set up with any input on the results ?

Are you running NO ABS Rick?

Any input?

Yeah, as said before. The ABS system IS phenomenal. I did a season or two with it, and a few races. But, occasionally/rarely, it's just not quite setup well enough for race slicks. And, you get marginally improved feel bypassing it.
Fast trackday, probably keep it. But, depends how it feels, for you.

Thanks Rick,

Yes, i al kind of a fast trackday rider, (well not that fast, but not as slow either)

And yes, the brake system feels good like you say, I have more trouble with raising up the rear wheel than with stopping power.

I think I will let it on

The OEM ABS system is GREAT on the V4 platform. There really isn't a reason to eliminate it BUT if you must I would advise running the bike in ABS mode 1 (front only), then blocking off all holes EXCEPT where the front brake line info is sent and run a line from the master to the ABS controller with a bleeder banjo at the controller. The ABS controller modifies engine braking based on the information it receives from the front brake pump. This means if you have a single line from the front master to the calipers and a single line to the ABS controller where the master previously was routed, you will need a standard double banjo bolt at the front brake master and a single bleeder style banjo at the ABS pump. I have installed this setup on several bikes with 100% success.

Does anybody know a uk supplier for the plugs and hoses?

I’ve got a track day booked up for next week and it would be great to sort the abs before 👍

Thanks in advance.

I got the brake lines from Reactive Parts. Pretty sure they do the blanks too.
