I’m thinking about get one of these to tow my V2 short distances so I don’t have to pull out the trailer and it will be easy to store.

Anyone tried one?

I wouldn't ever do it. Ever. But if in some parralel universe this was needed, Id opt out for this...

I’ve got a nicer version of one of those. It’s made by Mototote. Really well made and does an amazing job but it requires an SUV to support the tongue weight.

I’m looking for something that will be super quick and easy to get my bike to the dealer or up to the mountains (20-30 miles) that I can easily load and unload myself.

I got a lifted 2500HD. Nothing would make it simple for me so I am stuck if I ever wanna do it by doing the trailer...

Would never tow my bikes like that...I normally ramp them up into bed of my Tundra (when transporting one at a time), but if I needed to transport all at once, I'd get a trailer.

My son towed his Ducati 899 across the country with one of those type behind a little 2006 Hyundia Elantra filled with all his worldly possessions when he lost his job. Biggest issue with that setup is tongue weight and it really was bad on that tiny car, but he made it and amazingly the bike tire showed little wear. He put the front tire in facing forward and disconnected the chain so the rear free wheeled. Sometimes you don't have a lot of options.

I want to buy a mototote carrier
I have a Tacoma and this year I put my bike on the bed for track days but next year I want to put a roof top tent on the bed so My only options are buy one of those or rent a trailer

I’ve been very impressed with the Mototote. Very well made and sturdy. The only downside for me is the required tongue weight. This is obviously not a issue with a decent size SUV or truck but there are times I’d like to use one of my smaller vehicles which is why I’ve been thinking about getting something like a MotoTow.
Mototote does a great job of helping you understand the requirements

@hdavidson - Worldy possessions are no indicator of financial stability, nevertheless I have to ask why you're even considering these options, assuming the bike, vehicle, and custom home are yours. You can pick up a trailer, van, or truck for a couple grand knowing the machine is well secured. The peace of mind alone would be worth the additional expense.

It is all about ease of use. I don't always want to pull out my trailer or even use the MotoTote when I'm just dropping my bike off for service or running up to the meeting point of our local ride spot. I'm talking 30 miles or less type of stuff. I also want to be able to solo mount and dismount my bike, and I like the idea of storing the compact MoTow tow hitch in the trunk. No question, for long-distance stuff, I'll pull out the Kendon or MotoTote, but they're both a bit of pain for the quick stuff.

i am thinking one of those wheelchair modded town and countries. bag the rear end and drive it in.

i am anywhere from ten to fifteen miles to violating my parole but the really fun stuff is slightly further. i'm cheap so i feel like i am wasting tire money going in a straight line.
