Anyone was installing Panigale Anti-Theft System?

Hi all.

I bought the OEM Ducati Anti-Theft System to install in my 1199. In the box I found completely different what attached manual contains. At least the wiring has other number of connector and its lenght seems too short.

Who faced with it before?
 
I just know you should make sure you have the right system.
the 1199/899 and 1299/959 have different part numbers for the Anti theft system
 
Got pic of the module and plugs? I have a module for the 1199. But my Photobucket is not working at the moment to load any pic. If you post yours, I can compare with mine and tell you whether it's different or not.

If you will compare first one and second one pictures you can notice: the main wiring has different numbers of connectors.

In the manual shown wiring with 6 connectors. In my case - 4 connectors only.

The #5 wiring on the manual is what you should have. But mine only has 5 plugs instead of 6. Yours should have 2 big plugs at the end where it piggy back into the main engine harness ecm. The wiring you have might not have the starter disable? But you should definitely contact where you bought it from and get it corrected.

I really don't know. Where these two big plugs connect usually? I also can not find suitable plugs under seat / tank. Where they located?
