There are a few different ones . I have ordered two . One has a bend in it the other is straight .
Let me see which one is best and I will steer you in the right direction .

Mine should be here at the end of the month. Interested in your take on the cat delete/slip on set up as well.

Where are people in the US getting their Akras?
Cheers!

I own the Aprilia V4 Tuono (w full ohlins) gel seat, -1/+1, and it's amazing! Handling/comfort/amazing engine&sound/confidence inspiring- You wont be disappointed!

Hi mate, thanks for response, a few questions I would love an answer too from a satisfied owner:-

1. how do you find riding it all day or for a few days? The version Im looking at will have the ohlins on it as well. The 1290 ticks this box as confirmed by Wilks. My experience was it was comfier too compared to the Tuono.
2. One thing I did notice was the vibes through the handlebars is this something you yourself have noticed or do you think its worse than a V twin say?
3. Have you ever had a pillion on it? How did they find it...?

Thanks in advance..

No problem Iceman- For me, all day hasn't been an option with 3 kids..but compared to my 04 ZX-10r (with 50k mi.) it's better but not ideal. I'm 49, 5'7" 165lb and the Tuono fits me great but after about 100 miles I'm good for a break. Stock seat was rough after 50 miles, so the gel seat I can ride much longer without complaint but wouldn't be inclined to do a 200mi+ day on it. I have the MRA windscreen that made a huge difference for my neck with speeds above 60mph (plus it looks better) which I go often-
Regarding vibes through the handlebars (and foot pegs) it's minor for me. That's the kind of thing that is a deal breaker for me as I'm a professional musician with a bit of carpel tunnel and numbing. On my ZX10r I run heavier bar ends but I haven't needed them on my V4. Lastly, imo, a pillion is a bad idea on this bike. It's fine for my 6yr old daughter, size-wise, but not for my wife and she's only 5' 110 lbs and would probably fall off the back if I wasn't super smooth on the gas bcuz the seat gets narrower towards the back. Hope that helps!

Picked up my Super Duke today. It's that good. Been on the Tuono a fair amount on the street and track too. Tough call but I prefer the Duke's seat position, Ergos, and engine. It's already a ripper but I'll install the Akra and new map next week so I imagine it'll be that much better.

I went with the Tuono, put my deposit down last week....such a tough decision ...should take delivery in a week or so...let me know how it is with the akra fitted, is it the full system? Would love to see some picks when the akra is installed...

Yup will do. Not getting the full system, just the Bodis cat delete and Akra slip on. Need to figure out how to get the full Ti system to CA.

Shakedown ride through some twisties. I'm sure I looked like Simple Jack in my helmet.
Damn iPhone, keeps attaching upside down.
