the ones on ebay are cheaper due to a favorable exchange rate and some sellers who are breaking contractual obligations as a dealer. supposedly the japanese head shape is slightly different than the north american market. I wouldn't buy a helmet from japan because fitment may be slightly different.
 
Well, Iam european and get "japanese" M on similar seller in Japan. Fitment was perfect, as like my old Corsair " european" model , what I bought in Geneva. Maybe a have Japanese head...?
 
Do these run small? I usually wear small but my suomy I have is medium and fits perfect...since they are the similar shape

Those helmets are 100% different shaped and will fit different, it says so in their description. Helmets are not a thing you wanna be buying without a proper test fit.
