Has anyone here replaced a blown up V2 motor with a 959 motor? Or a 959 with a V2 motor? Did it start with no problems?

Look where the woodruff key is near the bolt to locate the generator/ignition flywheel. Ducati kept the same flywheel and crank sensor of the 959 but changed the degree to where its located at on the end of the crank. (I think)

Readily doable with an end mill. Trick is to measure the offset difference between the cranks really accurately. If you have a drill press and a mill vice and are careful, doable. A good machinist with an indexing head less than an hour.

I'd have to buy a V2 crank just for the measurements and hope the machinist gets it right.
