Are 1199 and 899/1299 Seats Interchangeable?

Just demo'd a 1299 and immediately noticed how much better the OEM seat felt from my 1199. Are they interchangeable?
 
I have a DP comfort seat on the Dragon Lady. It looks a bit more expensive and is very comfortable. :D
 
Sweet, thanks all. List of .... to buy this winter just got a bit longer.
