I'm in Australia and thinking buying a Cardo Freecom X4 bluetooth communication unit from Europe. Are these Cardo communication units country specific, i.e, can I use one bought from Europe or any other country in Australia (or any other country)? Thanks..

I'd suspect the differences between any unit is based on regulations in whatever particular country. I doubt Bluetooth mesh is any different, but different regulating bodies sign off on it.
I echo what @WyldCFH said. I'd call their customer service and say I'm going to travel, will my Australia purchased using work with my friends in the EU?
