2) Rins
3) Crutchlow
4) Dovi
5) Quartararo ... providing he can manage his tyres and gets off the line ok..

Yep epic race also Moto 2 was awesome too

Interesting race..

Exhibition riding by MM, can't fault that.
Numerous Ducati's at the sharp end, they've obviously made significant improvements over the winter. Good points for Dovi but could have really done with 20.
Good race by Rossi, unfortunately I doubt the Yamaha will be a regular podium contender.
Rins is going to be a regular podium contender if he can sort his qualifying out, the Suzuki appears to be very kind on the rear tyres ( like the comment about how they weigh the tyre after the race to see how much rubber is left, I didn't know they did that )

Vinales.. ? Anyone know whats going on there ?

How long before we see Lorenzo at the sharp end? The Honda is notoriously difficult to ride but according to some of the commentary during the weeknd, MM and JL's bikes are set up completely differently, so much so that neither could ride each others bikes and be competitive.

On to Austin.. MM wil almost certainly win there as well.

Vinales doesn't seem to do well in crowds, there is a big difference between being a technically good rider, and a good racer. You just have to be both.

Cal knew the rules. Move is move. Especially without stipping.

Everything else is like saying “i only got her a little bit pregnant”

I don't agree with that analogy, it's almost as if he didn't break the plane. Technically, she's still a virgin, can't get pregnant.

Yup, he was moving for sure, needed 5,000FPS to catch it though!

There should always be a discretionary clause in the rules, the only reason rules are there is for safety and fairness. If he didn't gain an advantage then let it go. My interpretation is inline with @jyli19, if he didn't break his starting line plane before the lights were off then GTG.

the rules don't mention the "plane breaking" thing you're referring to

It's clear the rules refer to movement before the lights go off. which is the same for every rider.

though the last line leaves a little room for ambiguity
