And here I thought the kickstand had to be removed with AP - they even said the kickstand has to be removed on a V4. Thank you for posting - I've been deciding whether to install AP or Gilles

I'm installing this rear brake light switch, works off hydraulic pressure and not the toggle switch - Bonamici Rear Brake Light Switch Ducati Panigale V4, V2 / 959, 1299 / 1199 (No Cut)

Have you looked into the IMA rear thumb brake instead of the foot lever for the rear? How for the lever extends is concerning as you mentioned

In the video, I noted that there was no provision for the brake light switch. That was an error. Turns out that there is a hole into which the brake light switch can be screwed, and then you would use the OEM stopper to adjust the distance for the brake light switch pin. Once installed correctly, the brake lever movement is quite alright and does not extend way down. Overall, I am very impressed with the AP rearsets.
