Can I just say that I was about when the discussion was happening a few years back regarding Austinracing and a customer.
It was nothing short of a witch hunt, very twisted and an attempt to dis austinracings great product.
It was simply a case of the customer did not quite hit the same dyno figures that AR hit, AR in the UK, customer in Australia different dyno different weather conditions, needless to say different end results.

I would say the past is the past and everything moves on.
Austinracing without doubt build the very best quality exhaust systems on the planet. Amazing tech looks performance and innovation.

Dont be blinkered by the odd few haters, things move on and in my opinion AR has moved on beyond Termi, Akra and certainly SC.
AR quality is far far beyond SC, take a look at their welds if you doubt this.

Anyway just wanted to set the record straight and point out to those that do not no of the true facts that the thread has been edited in such a way to make AR look like the bad guys when in truth they are most certainly not.

Please don't respond to this post just read and make your own decisions on exhausts do not let years past postings affect your decisions.

Moving on I think the Austinracing systems are sick and I will be ordering for sure. Will post up as soon as I have 1 on my V4.

all the teams of moto gp will change to austin racing next season, jajajajaa :RE:RE:RE:RE

I have the GP1 AR Inconel on my S1000RR and love it. The power gains are noticeable and the sound is great. Love the way it screams over 10K and the backfires off-throttle are sweet, too.

I actually visited Austin Racing and they fitted the Rapid Bike Racing module to my 1199S Tricolore, dyno testing before and after and I couldn't fault their attention to detail and service.
They had lots of their exhaust parts in the shop and the welding and quality looked pretty good to me, at the time they were building an exhaust for an F1 car (don't remember which) so they can't be too bad. Im not affiliated with AR, but I've actually been there.

At the end of the day, performance gains are really negligible when you are already at 200bhp and they all do much the same thing, especially if you spend most of your time riding on the street and as we know, full race systems won't pass noise limits at most circuits ( the V2 stock exhaust would exceed most UK track noise limits) so its as much, if not more, about about freeing up the sound.

For years, Termi's were the only exhaust to have on a Ducati, now they have been usurped by Akrapovic as the preferred Ducati Performance part. Pay your money and take your choice.

The weird thing is other than the couple posts on here from way back about AR theres not much bad that i can see about AR:confused:. If you go on the other forums these are still really popular and theres no negative about them.

Yeah they are pretty popular on Super Duke forums everyone has pretty good stuff to say.

Glad to see the members here have open minds and agree things move on.

I have been to the new AR HQ and i can tell you its pretty special to see the fabrication up close, the welding is just incredible quality. They were working on The Yamaha R1 BSB bike for Josh Brookes when i visited, very cool setup indeed and growing very fast.

WHAT? :confused::confused:
Multiple clients in multiple countries all over the world had issues with the inconel exhaust cracking. Owners taking their bikes to multiple different dynos to try to replicate the claimed numbers by AR. Not to mention, everyone experienced the 6-8k rpm midrange dip that could not be tuned out or corrected. The exhaust melted fairings on multiple bikes. It was also beyond loud and adding the internals baffles robbed damn near all the power.

But the worst part of it all was when it was time to step up, AR burned their customers. Absolutely classless in my book. To each their own I guess and good luck with the exhaust.

We bought the first generation of V4, usually the first generation have some bugs, replacing the exhaust for anything other than Akrapovic will be a good reason for Ducati to blame the owners for any issue with the bike and void the warranty

I am going to visit AR tomorrow so I can give you all the news on what I see. Will try to get some snaps if they let me.

For your info I had the slash Inconel gp2 System on my 1199. No flat spots once correctly mapped by a tech that knows what they are doing. Amazing quality massive power increase over the akra system I swapped it for and still going strong after 5 years of track abuse.
Like I said previously don’t believe the haters make your own minds up.

What constitutes a MASSIVE power increase?! I dont think that I have ever heard anyone say massive power increase with any exhaust ever...

My guess is your not visiting your just going to work .I find it hard to believe you have been tracking a Pani for 5 years and the first time you comment on a forum is defending AR exhaust that is all you have to offer .
I don't have a dog in this fight and I really don't care but find it funny that your telling members to make up their own minds while lying to people your real interest in this thread .
I may be wrong but I don't think so .

Bingo! You'd think Rich would have gotten better at this over the years.

Did i get a one off AR for my RSV4? Sounds amazing, great fit and finish, and not one complaint from me.

Best system i have seen on the V4 yet is the same company who made my F3 800 system, Spark..

How is that the best system?

He sent me a PM saying to ignore what people are saying about AR and whatnot. I dunno, sounds kinda fishy to me, like why would you PM someone that if you're already making a case publicly on a thread. Just seems kinda salesman-like to me.

After seeing the pricing, I'm leaning more toward the underbelly version if I go with AR. It's just a slip-on basically which is all I'm really looking for. I'll give some other brands time to crank things out and see where I stand after that.

Are you sure it's just a slip on? Wow that's very expensive for just a slip on but then again Akrapovic wants 4k for Their slip on.. which is completely ridiculous

Looks like it's just a decat slip-on based on their website description of it, uses the stock headers. The undertail one is a 3/4 system and reuses the headers from the front cylinders.

I admit i am an AR fan due to the fact i have purchased a few systems from them over the years which have been amazing and they have always looked after me.
I can vouch for my 5 year old system as i had it for many years and i then sold my bike to a good friend who still tracks the very same system.

The reason I'm so-called new here is because when all the crap was being said about AR i defended them, i then got personally insulted on the thread and in pm messages which i felt was really low and i just didn't want to be part of such a poison community.

Maverick,
I sent you a pm to try and warn about this, so many people turn to hate just because they support and prefer different brands!

Im really hoping that has changed by now and we can just enjoy the chats without slamming others.

I don't work for AR but i wish i did as i see they are advertising for new staff.
