AUSTIN RACING for Panigale V4 revealed

Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

all the teams of moto gp will change to austin racing next season, jajajajaa :RE:RE:RE:RE

I wasn't on this forum when it all kicked off before with whatever happened, but reading this thread its clear that something doesnt add up especially this part:

"in my opinion AR has moved on beyond Termi, Akra and certainly SC"

Personally i'm holding off on an exhaust until there have been a few independent reviews and dyno runs with published results.
I was thinking of going with the Akra but the price is just insane(more than a brand new R6) and from what I have read they are extremely loud.

here is your picture from brands hatch today of me with rich, top bloke in my opinion. I really don't have to justify myself here but i decided to post this as promised to show how wrong some people can be.
He did have something to say about this forum and did remember the rubbish from some years back. He said he's not joining any forums but he did comment and said i can post it if of any interest.

I also had a good chat today with the teams and their plans to run the V4 next season, very interesting.

Thanks Rich. Who's your friend in the pic?

give it up fella you have ben proven wrong except it!
come to the uk come to AR hq with me I will gladly introduce you to them

James Ellison was fliying yesterday with his super exhaust AR. maybe should consider sponsoring Bradley Ray. :RE

Fwiw, AR and all these other little snub exhausts, will never pass sound testing at most of the tracks around the world.
So unless you just want to piss off your neighbors and only drive on public roads, it’s all kind of futile .
I have seen more than one bike not pass sound testing and get sent home from the track.
Only to return with a quieter exhaust. And another for sale haha

Looks like it's just a decat slip-on based on their website description of it, uses the stock headers. The undertail one is a 3/4 system and reuses the headers from the front cylinders.

there is no dcat. the new euro 4 rules are that you cant detach the cat from the headers, its all one piece now. my friend went through it on his s1000rr. you either get a full system which removes the cats or a slip on with the cats. link pipes are no more

nobody here bashes others for liking or disliking a product. it was mainly in regards of the conduct that was shown during the power claims and how returns due to lack of quality were handled.

i'd say AR has gotten a fair shot in a community and ruined it. there was no self reflection or apology, so it turned comical.

at some point an alter ego showed up and started defending AR. that might have been you or not, nobody cares.

thing is, people will forget what you said or did, but they will never forget how you made them feel.

i see good credits for AR pipes on other bikes, no question, but the panigale ones turned into a total shitshow.

the arguments you are bringing , your writing etc. indicate that you are not from "Itali" - which is backed by the IP address we can see... somewhere northwest of Leeds, UK

which is ironically the same for Rich22...

so please Rich, don't .... with us... sell your Exhausts, advertise them, but don't create fake profiles, don't come up with stories of friends and .....

can we agree on that?

boom oh phil if you like BMW here thats a no no so almost perfect post.:D

all those lawyers and criminal investigators chatting with me over my fantastic bread all the time, you start adapting to their way of thinking, you know ;)

aside from that, all the peeps that have met me in person (at least 15-20 on this forum) will attest that i am indeed a nice guy.

awesome guy Phl is the man yes we met in person.

Not sure why PHl is attempting to turn what could be a nice thread into a dark place and pull in members that actually have no interest in the bike or exhaust options, nice 1!
Im not wasting my time justifying myself as i can see this place really hasn't changed in 5 years, same old, shame.

For those that are interested in what this thread is all about i did visit AR HQ early today and what i saw was pretty amazing to me. They let me handle both the gp3 and rs22 exhausts, so light and the level of skill building them i would challenge any company to do better. The design to work with certain stock parts and fuelling is in my book and clever and good move. I personally like the rs22 but both systems look very good and fit very nicely with the bikes design. Sound levels are not to loud and they supply db killers if you want it lower.

All in all very impressed, they did allow me to take a few snaps which i will post up.

I mentioned this forum to the guys in the office and they offered that any member can come visit and take a look at the AR quality if they have any doubts.

I don't think that AR can say fairer than that.

5 years yet only 13 posts

Ok so forum drama aside, have there been any more updates on this exhaust yet?

Jay1290, if you're still active in this thread, any chance you could post some more sound clips of the AR exhaust? I see tons of dyno runs on youtube but none that show how it sounds idle or when revved in neutral.

Sound and lookswise its my favorite on the market so far, with Spark in second

Hahahaha I’ve enjoyed these AR threads over the years, very entertaining. The way Rich represented himself here, he reall came off as a tool.
I’ve never cared for the looks of the AR systems he’s made for the Panigale or now the V4 undertail. But last summer I saw and heard the AR GP2R system on a friends R1M. One of the first five made. It looked on par with the majority of aftermarket systems made these days, but boy was it MotoGP loud. He had all the baffles removed to make the most power. Way too loud for even the street.

When I got rid of my S1000RR for my R1M last thanksgiving, I wanted something other than a Graves. Since it’s just going to be my coffee getter, I didn’t want to look like all the other R1’s running around my area and I wasn’t worried about max power. So I went ahead and ordered up the AR GP2R and figured I’d run it with all the baffles.
When the pipe arrived in January, it was redesigned and actually impressed me on the jump in quality. Beautiful welds and the whole 3/4 system weighed under 3 lbs with all 3 baffles in place. That’s 1 more baffle than the original system on my friends bike.
There’s a short baffle sandwiched between the canister and the mid pipe. With this removed and the mid pipe and canister baffles in place, my bike made just as much power as my friends with all his removed. Peak power was right up there with the Graves. We probably could have tuned for more power if we removed the mid pipe baffle but that would be way too loud for the street or most tracks so I passed on that.
As to how the curves looked, AR GP2R vs Graves, peak power was the same, AR had a higher torque peak, but the curve on the Graves was WAY WAY smoother. If I was using my R1M for racing, I’d definitely go Graves.
But for my coffee runs, I like the AR. I might even toss the little baffle back in and loose the 8 hp gained by removing it.
I still prefer the looks of my Akra on the Pani, and also the looks of the Vandemon.
But other than Rich being a major tool on here, I’ve been very pleased with the AR.

Hey PHl, how come I never got any fresh bread with my Ti bolts??? Gecko sent me Swedish chocolates!!! Get to baking brother :)) :))
