Laughed my socks off watching Rich Austin be true to form. Just got an 1199 and stumbled across this forum and there he was, same old stuff. I thought walk away kid nowt good will come of a visit but just for kicks.

some info for you -

Austin builds nowt. It's done but a third party company who are the ones involved in f1.
They build and design for anyone who will pay them to do so on a suitable scale for it to be worthwile. GoodFabs - inconel and stainless steel race exhaust fabrication

To my knowledge i'm told Austin came from property development. He just likes to think he knows it all - You've seen through that, right ?

If you agree with him he will be your best mate, if not he will attack you. Always has, always will.

He has form on multiple accounts on other forums so he can play good cop/bad cop and blame it on the "other" member, "it's not me".

Are his exhausts any good. - no idea, i know very little about bike engineering just own tem so they may be bonza or they may be pants i don't know

I know i won't buy one whatever, the guy is at best a control freak unless i were racing (i'm not that fast) the power is more than i will ever need as is with slip ons and the Police are hot on noise in my county.

I'm sure i would get blasted by him or that nasty Burnsey (that isn't really him) but this is my one and only visit. I won't populate any site that he is on, he sticks in my throat like the worst booga you could imagine.

cya, can't populate the same space as that loser

So as we like to say in England - he's talking bollocks. That person being Rich/Burnsy! Not laughed as hard in a long time!

So... after all the nonsense about being expert exhaust designers Blah Blah Blah ... It appears that AR are actually just expert label printers?? Putting their labels on Good Fabs pipes???

This is so amazing to me.... So much for all your amazing hard work Rich.. I guess those labels were really tough...;)

Oh & another point. This information is now out there in public domain for anyone who wants it.

Group fabrication of a new design? ;)

Perhaps if we do a 3D laser scan of 'someone's' system then we could get an improved version made in China and retail it for $400 - you couldn't say no at that price!

If you had known this prior, would you have still purchased it? I guess technically it doesn't matter who makes it, the product is what it is. Just curious.

Wonder if Bmw Aprilia etc Forums should know about this too.....

Nothing new here other than the outsourcing. But that does explain why he had to have you return it, as he is a 3rd party. I am going to post it on my other Ducati forums as an FYI, just to help out Rich's Marketing Department get the word out. :D

Maybe I can make one with my new 3D printer! :)

Too bad he left (again). Would like to hear his perspective. I'm sure Bugsy will point out that we're gay ......s but that's not really the same. Goodfabs sounds like a great company though! I wonder if they are where Rich gets all of "his" F1 experience that Bugsy mentions?

Not a f*cking word from the naysayers on this forum yet. Wonder whether they will have the balls to chip in with any comments. Come to think of it will Rich/Burnsy show their faces again.

Glad I did not drop $4K on these pipes & thats thanks to this forum.

I think Gunny's been perfectly neutral on this like a respected member with vendor ties should be. Props to him!
