You have that right!
But I have no problems with it ...
And really like the AR exhaust system!

красивый! I am not nuts about the AR pipe without the belly pan, but interesting to see it. Undertand, no one here hates the pipe, just the companies PR (public relations). It changes the look, and the sound is sometimes illegal, but those are the only drawbacks to the design IMO.

Not as often as I wanted to ..)
And my family has been living in Toronto!))

In Russia you can earn a lot of $!))

What do you do there, if you don't mind me asking (we have a thread for that actually :) ) My daughter is traveling through Toronto today, returning from the home of AR :)

Northbankgooner you have no clue what you are talking about. You forget I saw first hand what went on at splitlath and what went on with the loud mouthed south African mechanic called david. He tried to ... rich up whilst Austin were testing new prototype parts on the aprilias way back a few years. Austin went through few carbon parts to test designs to end up with the finished product on the bikes. The south African .... then posted on a ducati forum that the austin carbon part failed..... the mechanic and rider got booted out of the team. He attacked rich on the ducati forum that rich quite rightly so defended his company on. rich was not banned but simply left. He took it up with david the big mouth mechanic at a brands bsb meeting, david backed down and apologised and said it was just a bit of fun.....I seen it all I was there.
so get your fukin facts right before you open your big fat fukin mouth........ brain

So you're actually claiming to be Chris Burns the racer from Newcastle? Does he know this.

Unfortunately the fact no one from Newcastle where Chris is from would EVER use the term "geeza" gives you away. A term more likely to used by someone from Peacehaven [I grew up in Sussex]. You've been found out AGAIN Rich. Quite pathetic really.

As I type, I'm questioning why I'm even doing this... but, I am so I can't be too unsure about it I guess...

I'm not sure where to begin with all of this and I'm sure my words and picture will come under fire as these threads, product and vendor has. Seems like this place could stand a group of guys who spent more time in the seat, and much less time typing or "fighting the good fight" that seems to be the prevailing theme about this product and site these days. and here it comes... 3... 2... 1...

I bought the kit for a few reasons. #1. I honestly thought though reading the description of how the system was constructed it'd help deal with shedding heat. #2. I knew the bike suffered from fueling issues and being friends with a local shop that had access to a dyno and a fantastic tuner, I though it a great excuse to have the bike mapped. #3. Termi... Termi... Termi.... Look, I get it but, I had done a full termi kit on my hyper w/ stacks and I felt it ruined the bike. On top of that, I like seeing different things done to bikes then just the norm or standard. Now knowing that the Termi set up does in fact make sense, I would have been completely happy w/ them. But, what's done is done and this is just my opinion. Do what you like. #4. I happen to really like the idea of saving weight w/ a different look. Does my riding benefit from either? No. But either does much of what's available aftermarket to be honest.

I had my share of issues getting the system fit. Once I did and now w/ the term- up map (waiting now to get it in for the custom map) I'm happy with it.

I know i'll be labeled here as a "fan boy" or whatever that .... internet term is by a few people and I'm not going to get in a war and stick my .... up like a lot of what's going on here. But, throughout my dealings with getting this system right, Rich was a pleasure to deal with and FULLY backed his product.

I'm not going to sit here and type and make comments on how he's dealt with his PR here as that's his cross to bare. But I will say I NEVER got any attitude, delay in response or lack of support w/ questions.

I do wish for a bit more out of the pipe over all for the price. But, I can confidently say that I'm happy with my purchase and would buy from Rich again. For Rich, I wish he was able to have presented himself better. The only reason I say this is that I'm as small business owner and today your presence on the net is everything. I hope that he continues to work with the people he intends on selling his products to. You aren't going to get to do that with product development with other companies. Who cares what I think... I'll leave it at that.

If anyone has a question that I can calmly do my best to answer, please feel free to ask. I hope to offer up what I can for those who have bought the system or to those who are thinking about doing so (if there's anyone left).

Thanks,
andy

Looks good Andy. Glad you're experience has been positive and you're happy with it. Your don't qualify as a fanboy as you're sensible and rational.

I think its awesome that you have this pipe and that after some struggles with fitment etc its working great for you..... I think you misinterpret the tone of this forum with regards to AR.... and I can only explain it from my point of view... I think this pipe looks amazing and from what I read it sounds amazing... as we know the claimed performance increases appear to be questionable at best... the pipe is not Plug'n'play as stated by Rich and unfortunately there seems to be potential issues with the welds and it certainly appears to need a heat shield ..again contrary to AR's statements ....But that's almost by the by for me... The problem is not the pipe per se...its the attitude of its vendor..Imho.. I wont rehash all that again but I think you miss the point of the posts??

Look at the Rich's posts and tell me he doesn't deserve to be raked over the coals on this???Be interested to know your opinion on that??

Congrats on the pipe... Maybe you are the norm..or perhaps the lucky one?? Who knows ... with a more positive engagement of the forum it is possible we could have found out the truth ...but the Rich/Burnsy show just raised peoples ire to the point that they (I) stopped listening...

I hope you understand my point??? If not that's Ok..we are a broad church and all (constructive) posts be they positive/negative are welcome in my opinion and I thank you for posting this....

A detailed & well thought out post.

I'm glad that you are happy with the exhaust & back up from Rich. As it should be.

My point is that I was looking at this product but just cannot accept the way Rich has behaved. You post/advertise on an open forum you have to be able to accept the feedback both positive & negative. Rich appears totally unable to do accept ANY negative feedback.

i don't wish to get into this much, but i get you. i just didn't think it the gang up deal was necessary. i understand everyone here's intent is to help. but when you look at the number of posts and egging on, it to me really hurt this place. again, this is just my opinion and not the reason for my post. i don't want this post to continue to add to it, but i guess that's to late. I do understand that you all were just trying to get the facts and truth, but i think the threads might have benefited from a bit more sitting back and reading without the constant chiming in.

Again, I get the reactions and i'm not attacking anyone and I'm not trying to whip up this already beat horse.

I think it all stems from Richs original claims way back when..when he tried to take the high ground against other products and then started attacking posters on here... But I understand your point.. and its valid...

Have you dyno'd it yet - did you just notice the lack of power just in the 'seat of the pants dyno?
How many baffles? If one which side are you running it?
What were the fitting problems?

I am gagging to get mine back as the bikes been off the road for ages :(

Mostly I had a similar experience until recently as you will have read. Whilst I wouldn't say they were a pleasure to deal with we had a straightforward interaction.

Rich always responded and helped me though the fit. I've worked on bikes fo years and even built a few. Am i bragging? Not at all. I'm just saying that i'm a decent wrench and had a bear of time getting it fit. Part of how tight everything is on this bike and part me not being pleased unless things were perfect. I lined every part of my lower fairings with rather thick fiberglass weaved reflective shielding tape just to be sure as my clearances were super tight.

No dyno yet. We're going to do it after hrs a my friends shop and they are very busy and I don't wish to burden them. I did sneak the termi map. I feel the throttle to be a bit smoother though the mid. but not a huge fall off. I do think the idle is worse and still a bit rough in the lower range for my liking. I hope to gain smoothness as apposed to seeking every possible bit of HP & TQ. I personally HAVE to run both baffles as I can't take it w/ just one or none. If I was racing, it's be different, but plenty loud with both in in my opinion.

Overall I had clearance issues stemming from the head flange and how the pipe related to the lower fairings. It took several off and ons before I could gain the clearances I felt comfortable with as to not damage the fairings or bellies. Rich worked with me throughout the process. I was frustrated with how I couldn't get it right and he calmly helped how he could.

Thanks. Look forward to seeing the numbers. I'll post my new charts soon, hopefully this weekend. We've done a lot of work to get it running right, which seems to be your experience but from a different perspective.

With the greatest respect to your comments about service I also acknowledged that AR had been helpful along the way, several times, and i even stuck up for them initially when the part failed and shipping thing came up and I'm pretty sure you've seen that.

Many, many members, outside of the group involved in this stoush, acknowledged my patience and balanced approach, again even after the exhaust failiure but ultimately it still resulted in personal attacks on this forum, initially from his alter-ego Burnsy and subsequently from Rich. There is no excuse for that, and the spectre of that sort of treatment looms for any customer that exercises free speech.

Frankly if AR were in Australia I would be filing a report with the ACCC (Australian competition and consumer commission).

You cannot do anything with an imported product???

Northbankgoon
I have never claimed to be Chris burns nor any other person just myself, Burnsy. You twist things and make assumptions. .... I am not rich, I am not Chris burns, like I said, keep guessing GEEZA......
I attack you lot as I am sick of reading the .... you throw at austin and rich. They have a class product and tops for reputation accross many bike models. You are attempting to destroy them on the Panigale exhaust. They will and have risen way above you lot. You suffer if rich leaves the forum how ever you look at it.
I will stop ranting and swearing when you lot stop slagging.........

If AR's reputation is as good as you say then why bother worrying about what a few people have to say on one little forum??? Let the product and Rich's customer service speak for itself....Oh wait.... Maybe they have???
