Bar End Torque Bit Size...

Try a large metric bolt head with double nuts on it in a pinch. Nevermind, it's a 12 point, let me check the size.

Looks like it needs a 12 point male ZXN bit, also called triple square. A ZXN 14M fit fine. About time this socket found a home. Why Ducati did this is beyond me, but there must an Italian engineer somewhere who had a reason, likely not a good one. Big bit = big hole = a few grams?

Awesome thanks man! Gonna install some oberons Thursday.

They must have cut a deal with the tool companies, too many of these sitting on the shelf not sold... problem solved..lol

BTW, they carefully calculate the weight of the bar end and purposely use heavy metal for dampening. So maybe they did fine tune the weight with the tooling??

A 12 metric allen head works just fine. I think the "fastener" shape is a double hex.
