Speaking of jaw flapping Don when is that stolen POS ever going to run or are you stuck until you can steal another bike for parts?
Hey Cycler use the search, there’s quite a few threads on it. I’d weigh mine, its got no discs but unfortunately its got a tire on it! What can tell you is that the cast wheels are really heavy. From memory the forged Marchys are not to far off carbon but I think the carbon wins by having less rotating mass. When I went from the cast wheels to the forged wheels it was like night and day.I searched the web but cant find the correct answer. The weight of the front and rear wheels on a base 1299 are all over the place. Does anyone know the correct weight of the OEM base wheels on a Ducati 1299? Id like to compare that weight to the Marchesini forged Aluminum M7 and M10 wheels. I know some weight the wheels naked without any hardware in them and others weight them with hardware like axle, bearing and anything the wheels need. I would appreciate if someone can find that information for me.
BST's - Front 5.48lbs, Rear 5.97lbs
Marchesini 10 Spoke Magnesium - Front 6.25lbs, Rear 6.95lbs
Panigale S Marchesini's - Front 6.92lbs, Rear 8.16lbs
Panigale Base model - Front 9.05lbs, Rear 12lbs
Here ya go!

You call me a thief - I don’t steal
You call me a liar - I try to be honest with everyone. Including myself
You post that I am on drugs - I do not do drugs. I don’t even drink anymore. I quit years ago
Wtf? Now you call BS on my wheels and the scale at my buddies shop. He sells coffee beans to half the restaurants in Newport Beach. He’s a super cool hippy dude and he is not ripping anyone off. Do you have trust issues? Lil bit? Well ur in luck Mick. I didn’t have the rear with me that day so I weighed it at the UPS store later. If their scale weighs lite they lose money so maybe you will believe that one:View attachment 36343
