I had my suspension adjustment but the rebound in the rear is too stiff. Does anyone know where I can buy the right size spanner wrench (USA based) to adjust it for a BASE V4?

Rebound is not adjusted with a spanner. The spanner is used to set spring preload.
You can use pretty much any motorcycle spanner to set the preload.

Thanks that's a relief. Looking at the diagram for whatever reason I thought I needed a wrench. What tool do a need for the rear rebound?

So why do you need to adjust rebound? Have you set preload correctly yet?
I went to a tuning shop and they set me up in about half an hour. I tweaked the rebound in the front because the bike was coming up too quickly. I want to tweak it in the back so it's not throwing from the seat riding on the street.

It was good for the track but now just going to get a dedicated track bike and save the V4 for the street.

Is this another Don14 account?

If you talked to a proper suspension specialist they’d tell you the locations of the different components and how to adjust them.

Not sure who Don14 is but I'm just looking for the spanner tool. My dealer will get one but they are a ways out. I was hoping to order one. Do you know where I can find one to fit the base V4?

I guess I'll try rebound first. Either way you know where I can find a spanner tool for the V4?
You’re wasting your time doing that. Get a spanner and set your preload first. You are being thrown from your seat because you likely have no static sag on the shock. Rebound won’t help that, it might only slow it down slightly. Order a spanner wrench on Amazon.

order of importance: preload, rebound, compression.

Great! Thank you. Is there a certain size? Do you have a link if it's not to much trouble?

I did...that's why I want to adjust the rebound. Thank you for the help!

you need a new suspension person. Proper preload will stop you from being thrown. These bikes come way stiff On the back.Coming out a few turns on preload will solve it.
