Hi,
I somehow don't get the (probably)most basic Tuneboy function...where do i get the appropriate tuning Map for my bike?
I currently have a rexxer mapping on my bike... here you have two options. You either:
A: Go to a rexxer dealer and let them flash your ecu with a specific map (appr. 200,-)
B: Get the kit yourself and rexxer puts two appropriate tuning maps on the flash unit beforehand (appr. 500,-).
Now with tuneboy you get the kit (appr. 600,- for the tune and cruise option).
You hook up the kit and select the appropriate file (other only o2 disabled, or only cruse control, or tune and cruise...all probably provided with a cd) to upload to your ECU to receive the ECU Serial. After that, you send the ECU serial with your email via Internet for verification. Correct me if I'm wrong.
NOW, a manual that i found on the internet states, that you're now able to select your tuning file. BUT where do i get this tuning file?
Am i supplied with an internet address after supplying the ECU serial, or do i get a CD with tuning files with my purchase?
How do i even know which tuning files exist (specific exhaust systems? Slip ons?...) and how many tuning files do i get??
The Tuneboy site itself has a few tuning files for download (zip files), but none for the 1199 Panigale.
I'm not planing to do any self-tuning..i just want a pre-fabricated map fitted to my exhaust system (o2 disconnected, flapper disconnected, and the right exhaust..oh, and the cruise control)
