Battery & charging: SF V4 S 2020

My dealer says the SF V4 has a normal battery and can be charged with a normal charger... I want to run a charging cable from the battery that will connect to my 5 year old Optimate charger. Comments?? Anybody doing this? Regards!
 
Yes, SF has a lead acid battery and yes, I have an SAE pigtail on mine for charging. I bring it out under the battery cover to the front by the key. That way I can put an SAE>USB adapter and charge my phone when needed also

I have it here at work today so can run out and take a quick pick if needed. No tools to take the cover off though

You can see part of it here. I walked out without my key and the steering is locked...
