Ok I have had it with this bike . The dealer has given it a valiant effort to fix the fueling issues to no avail. I just got the bike properly dynoed yesterday. It turns out my theory was right. It is running waay to lean from 4000 to 8500 rpm. It is also running pretty fat up to about 9500 rpm! So the AFR's are allover the place. This explains why it is such a dog on the low to midrange so now i have to find a way for my Dyno tuner to adjust it. I don't want to go through all the hassle of re drilling the exhaust bung and installing a wide range Co2 sensor etc (not to mention the $895.00 cost for the Rapid Bike tuner etc)
So my next step is Bazzaz. They have a unit for the 1199 available however I have two questions....
1. Will it work on the 1299?
2. If so, can I retain the quick shifter up and down feature?
If so then I can have my Dyno guy tune it for me. OK yeah, one more question....after going through all the process, will the Ducati's ECU just change it back? I intend to leave the O2 sensors disconneted...
Any input from those that actually have some experience with Bazzaz would be appreciated...
